Setup Online Services for your Business Entities

As a business owner, ensuring efficient management of your tax obligations is essential. One key step in this process is setting up your own access to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) online services for your business entities. We strongly encourage you to complete this setup as soon as possible, ideally by the end of October. This will ensure smoother and more efficient management of your business' tax obligations.Establishing your own access to online services is becoming more necessary as the ATO continue to change their communication processes on your business-related lodgement obligations for you and us.

Please follow the below step-by-step guide to set up ATO Online Services for your Business:

  1. Create a myGovID Account:

Visit the myGovID page and follow the instructions to set-up your myGovID account.

If you already have myGovID account (e.g. was also required for directors ID) please proceed to ‘step 2’.

  2.  Log In:

Go to the ATO Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) page and enter your details.

  3. Link Your Business Entities:

In the ‘Business’ section, select ‘Link a new business’ and follow the prompts.

  4. Set Up User Access (if needed):

Manage access for other users in the ‘User Access’ section.

  5. Verify Everything:

Ensure all following business entities are linked and accessible.
